Privacy Policy
Last updated: 14 September 2026
This policy explains what personal data WeWin ("we", "us") collects when you use joinwewin.com and the WeWin Discord bot, why we collect it, and the rights you have over it under UK data protection law (UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018).
Who we are
WeWin is operated by Damiano Incisa di Camerana, a sole trader based in the United Kingdom. For anything in this policy, contact us at support@joinwewin.com or via the WeWin Discord server.
What we collect
- Discord account details. When you sign in with Discord (or link Discord to a Google account) we receive your Discord user ID, username and avatar. We do not receive your Discord email or password. With your permission we also add your Discord account to the WeWin server.
- Google account details. When you sign in with Google we receive your Google account ID, name, email address and profile picture.
- Betting activity you enter. Offers you start, stakes, odds and results you log, and the profit/loss figures we calculate from them.
- Screenshots you upload. If you upload bookmaker or exchange screenshots to the bot, we process them to extract odds and slip details. Screenshots live in your private Discord thread, which is deleted shortly after your session ends; we keep the extracted data (odds, stakes, selections), not the images.
- Purchases and subscription status. Payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card details. We store your Stripe customer ID, what you bought, and your subscription status so we can grant offers and credits.
- Usage records. Credit balances and spends, feature usage, and rate-limit counters, used to run the service and prevent abuse.
Why we use it (lawful bases)
- To provide the service (performance of a contract): linking your Discord and/or Google account, tracking your offers, granting purchases, sending settlement reminders.
- To keep the service fair and secure (legitimate interests): rate limiting, fraud and abuse prevention, debugging.
- To meet legal obligations: keeping purchase records for tax and accounting.
We do not sell your data and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
Who we share it with
- Discord — sign-in and the bot/community run on Discord; anything you send there is also subject to Discord's own privacy policy.
- Google (sign-in) — when you choose "Continue with Google", Google processes your sign-in under its own privacy policy. We receive only the profile details listed above, not your Google password.
- Stripe — payment processing and subscription billing.
- Google (Gemini API) — screenshot images and text are sent to Google's API to extract odds and slip details. This is separate from Google sign-in.
- Hosting — our server is hosted with DigitalOcean in their London data centre.
Odds data providers (for example The Odds API and Betfair) receive no personal data about you. Some of the providers above may process data outside the UK; where they do, transfers are covered by UK-approved safeguards such as the UK Extension to the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses.
Cookies
We set one essential cookie, wewin_session, to keep you signed in. We do not use analytics or advertising cookies.
How long we keep it
We keep your account data while your account exists. If you ask us to delete your account, we remove your personal data within 30 days, except purchase records we must keep for tax purposes (6 years). Screenshot threads are deleted from Discord shortly after each session.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, object to or restrict our use of it, and ask for it in a portable format. Email support@joinwewin.com and we will respond within one month. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
Age limit
WeWin is for people aged 18 or over. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18; if we learn we have, we will delete it.
Changes
If we make material changes to this policy we will post the new version here and update the date at the top.
